The past four years of my high school life are ending. It amazes me how fast they have flew by. I still remember my freshman year like it was yesterday. Walking into the high school feeling alone and scared. Freshman year was definitely the hardest, but easy year for me. If that makes sense. Everyone had changed. Joining the volleyball team and the softball team helped me gain friends. Through the years some of those friendships faded, but I am proud to call some of them my best friends now. Sophomore year was a rough year for me. I did not play any sports due to injury, but joined school clubs. Let me just say it was very difficult. I did not really know anyone. I was not the type of girl who was very good with communicating with people. I just kept to myself. Joining the clubs helped me come out of that box. Although I did not see my old teammates as much I made a couple new friends. Junior year. What a year that was. That was the year I was under the most stress. Trying to figure out what college I wanted to attend, studying for the ACT, what I wanted to do with my life. It was not easy. I rejoined the volleyball team, but gave up softball. I also did not return to any of the clubs. Now that I am in my senior year. It is finally hitting me that this is it. High school will be over...forever. The beginning of my senior year was hard because our volleyball coach was leaving, so we got a new coach, or should I say coaches. Senior year volleyball was probably the best year of my life. I met a lot of new girls from the JV team. Senior night was difficult for me because that was the last game. The last game I will ever play with my teammates, friends, sisters. I am so happy that I had met those girls. I will never regret meeting them. Now that my senior year is coming to a close I just want people to know that I will miss it. I am not completely heartless. I will miss my best friends who I now call sisters Sam Greene, Chelsea Fancher, Vivian Poe, and Taylor McKinnon. I will deeply miss you girls when I go away. I am happy that it is coming to an end though. I will get to experience new things, learn more, meet new people, find out who I really am. I am a little scared, but I am ready to start this new chapter in my life.
If I could live anywhere and any way I wanted, I
would live near my hometown.
If I could be anything I wanted, I
would be a teacher. I want to help kids
succeed in life.
If I could do anything I wanted,
whenever I wanted, I would travel the
world.
Where are you five
years from now?
I hope to be graduating from Ohio University
with the major of Education.
Twenty years from
now?
I will be about 43 years old so I hope I will be
helping my child/children in life.
Thirty-five years from
now?
I hope to be still teaching and living life with my
husband. Even though I will be 53, the fun never
stops.
Fifty years from now?
At 68 I hope to be retired and taking care of my
grandchildren.
